The class dealt with the rules on how to score, winning strategies and a whole lot more and revealed millions across the world are hooked on Scrabble.

Mrs. Shaila Amalean was the Scrabble National Champion in 2001 and 2007. She also represented Sri Lanka at the World Scrabble Championship in 2005 and 2009. Over the years, she has shared her passion for the game by teaching Scrabble at several local schools on a voluntary basis.

Computer Basics is a practical course designed for the uninitiated. Nothing will be considered too basic in this program. From how to turn the computer on to sending email and getting on Facebook and Skype, the course will show you how to enjoy the truly enriching experience of computers and the internet.

Anika Amalean is a graduate from The University of Manchester and is currently working as a Senior Merchandiser at MAS Holdings. Anika uses computers extensively and is keen to share her knowledge with the older generation.
